In 2016, Sikkim created history as India's first fully organic state, earning international recognition with the prestigious Future Policy Gold Award 2018, presented by the World Future Council in partnership with FAO and IFOAM – Organics International.
Yet, this remarkable achievement presented a critical challenge: farmers needed effective organic alternatives to conventional chemical pesticides for managing crop diseases and pests, particularly in light of the total ban on the use of chemicals in agriculture.
Recognising this gap, experienced professionals associated with the Sikkim Organic Mission embarked on a journey of research and innovation. Years of dedicated experimentation and field evaluation led to the development of promising botanical crop-care formulations.
What began as an initiative to support Sikkim's organic farmers evolved into SANJEEVANI AGROAID SOLUTIONS in 2015 — an enterprise dedicated to making sustainable agriculture practical, productive and profitable for farmers everywhere.
